The Energy Balance Model Does Not Consider All Calories Equal

The energy balance model does not consider all calories identical. Different calorie levels have different thermogenic effects and regulatory effects on compensatory appetite, right? That's right. And i think where we really see this emerging is in animal models. You can actually produce animals that will gain fat independent of calory and take. So you can actual clamp them at their former calory an taken, they will nevertheless gain fat. At least in principle, those types of effects are possible, i believe.
