Migratory species that are especially at risk, the migratory species, are those that go to a particular place. These were enormous nesting colonies, but they were creet and so the hunters could disrupt each and every one of them. That's more or less what happened. And in a surprisingly short period of time, the birds were snuffed out. The last one died in captivity, just because people shot them.
