I'm largely given up on reducing the gun violence by very much because there's just so many guns. The law of large numbers, even if it's just 0.001% of people that are whack jobs, that's enough for every day to be some crazy shooting and we're not going to take the guns away. Look what we did after 9-11: They hardened the cockpit doors. And we haven't had an attack like that since.
