Can you talk a little bit more about the beating process I've seen multiple videos of you doing it. It allows you to work on really delicate fabrics like silks or fawn silk, even heavy silanza,. You can probably do leather, but it allows you to change into a 3D piece because you're working on a full fabric before it's been cut out.
