The fear of judgment holds us back from putting ourselves out there, opening our hearts and being more vulnerable. For essentially 30 years of my life, I wasn't opening my heart to intimate relationships because I was afraid of other people's opinions of me. When we reconnect with the self, that is fearful, scared or closed off when we re-align with ourselves, then we can open up and connect with others.
