Into the Wild by John Crack Hour

In 1992, John Crack Hour published the first full-length treatment of McCandless's story. In an interview with David Bianculli, Crack Hour talks about how he writes and his obsessive compulsive quality that leads him to rewrite every sentence a hundred times. And at the very end of the interview, Crack Hour says he isn't going to write any more books because he now seeks meaning and purpose in different ways.
