The FBI's Warning to Americans Not to Use Public Chargers
FBI agents in Colorado are warning Americans not to use public charging stations for their phones and computers because hackers can use your power cords to hack your device. The FBI's field office in Denver issued a warning to people about something called juice jacking. Do not use free charging stations in airports or hotels or shopping centers. Carry your own charger and your own power or USB cord and make sure you use an electrical outlet that's preferably on the wall or the floor, or not on one of those charging stands.
