I didn't love Portland. I transpend as a little time in Portland as humanly possible. It's gone downhill in the last few years. We're about 60 minutes from the coast, but we're surrounded by mint farms and dairy farms. If you want to go surfing or hiking over there, head down to California. You can get something for way cheaper at Ben & Jerry's than Bend.
