Professor Laurylle is probably one of the best known names in the space of deep learning right now. She started her career as an intern at Yasho Benjil's lab and stayed there until the end of her PhD really. "I have been very fortunate to get into the field of AI," she says.

Professor Larochelle leads the Montreal Google DeepMind team and is adjunct professor at Université de Montréal and a Canada CIFAR Chair. His research focuses on the study and development of deep learning algorithms.
