DAX Is a Real Strength of the Power BI Product
DAX is a formula expression language to produce numerical results and aggregated results that are then, you know, visualized as charts and various visual types on the canvas. You can write essentially like robots in DAX that will go and scan your data at whatever granularity you think is appropriate, and looking for outliers. Outliers can be as simple as just outside of their historical norm by,. you know, a certain number of standard deviations or something like that. And one of the things we encourage is to use the DAX expression language to essentially become like a big part of your automation suite for detecting problems.
