The Most Common Cause of House Plant Death
Most common cause is a lack of light combined with water to cause this anaerobic soil which leads to root rot. Never watering your plants on a schedule because they just might not need it. Put the plant where you think it looks nicest but if it's far from a window it will die a slow death so the priority really should be what the plant needs not aestheticallywhat you need to make the room look good.
