The Black Phone by Scott Derrickson
The black phone is the latest film from scott derrickson, a returning to the horror gombre after making doctor strange and exiting doctor strange in the multi verse of madness. There's a tin age called finney who is living in a neighbourhood rife with reports of boys being kidnappeda by this figure that everyone is calling the grabber. He ultimately gets grabbed by the grabber, locked in a basement and has to find his way out. And i would say that the black phone does go boo at various moments - but it actually gives an incredible performance. It doesn't shy away from the darkness o its premise, but also has a lot of warmth to it.
