Is There a Correlation Between Technology and Democracy?

There's a lot written about the correlation between technology and democracy. How did that perhaps play into the end of imperialism, if you think it did at all? Most ancient question. I mean, what is clear is that what we now take for granted a kind of global internationalism. But after 19 forty five, the globalization of technology, economic globalization, took off again.
