The Pandemic Has Been Helpful for Investors
With all the focus on new york, boston and especially silcam valley, there are some enormous inefficiencies and lots of great ideas. Even a company i read about in the book called a mail chimp, based in atlanta at acquired for 12 billion dollars. It was actually boot strap. There was no venture capital, and part because they weren't able to raise venture capital when they started more than a decade ago. The tipping point for the rise f the rest really was with the pandemic, and we'll see an acceleration over the next decade.
