The Path to a Soft Landing?

We don't necessarily think the path to a soft landing is completely closed either, but we do think it's getting narrow. If we do avoid that recessionary path and hit the soft landing, we do think actually markets will respond favorably to that to some extent. And in fact, you could get through this period. We think the inflationary pressures were largely supply side driven. The demand picture will soften. And so we think inflation could come in as well. But keep in mind, recessionary cycles are part of the business cycle. At some point the excesses that have accumulated over the past, you know, two to three years, that will play itself out to some extent."
