The Importance of Memorization

The more you know, the more you can know. When we help students and children to memorize things, their ability to Memorize things grows. I think math teachers often commit a great error in trying to talk to people about the usefulness of math. It's not because we're going to necessarily be using our algebraic equations the rest of our life. The fundamental reason we learn math is to make us smarter to build our brains.
