There's almost like only one company that makes most of the machines that we use to make these most advanced chips called ASML, which happens to be based in the Netherlands. Basically, everyone else gave up on trying to compete with them, which is amazing. So if you want to govern something at its global issue, you'd rather just have to deal with four countries and a handful of companies than a hundred countries and a hundred different companies. It's nice that the rural turned out to be this way, right? Like this could theoretically change but I think it's not feasible anytime soon.
