i always used to place these, me, being right handed, from the right side of the patient. Nowadays i will more likely do the right fem and eye jay from the same side. Eye jays are a little weird because they are sort of at a weird diagonal angle where your hand position becomes very irrelevant. I think it's worth it for me to avoid having to reach over. My back always hurts these days. Is just a little more convenient to be close. Again, most ejas are really big and really superficial.
