The Limits of Internalization
There are these curious cases of our ability to internalize what was originally an entirely external tool. I don't think for a moment that they've got the right structure to become conscious or even truly intelligent creatures because they lack the grounding in perception action loops. At the same time though, they're the same is true of the slide rule. It's a really, really good thing to have as part of your extended mind as is a smartphone. And then we should finish on AI as a topic here. Sounds like it sounds like a good plan of action.
