Jeff Daley: It's been a very volatile reporting season. Earnings misses are being punished and large earnings beets are needed for stocks to be rewarded. We're seeing signs of softness in certain verticals with tighter financial conditions being cited. But we're also seeing signs of bottoming in certain industries that entered the down cycle a little bit earlier, perhaps.
