What's the Praise Report?

Paul was worried and maybe even anxious in a sense about how was the condition of this church, but instead of getting bad news, he got the best of news. He has told us that you always long or always have pleasant memories of us and that you long to see us just as we long to see you. Pleasant memories, that long idea is like intensely desire. And what this verse does, it kind of sets the stage for the rest of our time together because it pulls us out of an individualistic faith. It displays this type of communal, relational faith that's full of emotion.
