Is There a Bias in Science Fiction?
There's a famousness bias, like because you're well known, people are going to make assumptions. If you talk a particular way, people will assume you are more or less well educated or better informed. And I think you're right. Like women certainly suffer from this worse than many, many, many other cohorts.
