How to Translate Long Texts

All students are required to do sentences in their language. The further up you go, the more you have to go from individual sentences that you've translated into your language. We actually do a conlang relay. That's another homework assignment. But the sentences do work together and they have to be considerate and say, would my speakers have this word? If not, how would I get around that?
