John Ronald: Aowyn's thoughts are of Mary and his great deed. He says Tolkien might have forgotten about Imrahill here. The last time he was mentioned was right after Faramir's healing. Pippin over hears the bit from Yoreth, then there's nothing about him during the healing of Aowyn. And so she is sort of in the balance. Like Ericorn says, if she waits to despair, she's going to die.
