The Wilhelm Screen

The Wilhelm screen is a library effect of someone screaming that got its use over and over again. It became an in-joke between Richard Anderson and I for 25 years. No one paid any attention until the internet came along. Now we know it's proliferated beyond my control into TV shows, commercials and video games.
