In the last episode, we were talking about the evolution of statistical thinking. The big one was Pearson's insight of moving from the data for the sake of the data to the data as an entry point to the parameters of the underlying distribution. And I still to this day find it fascinating to think about our primary goal as data analysts are these moments of the underlying distributions.
