What Is a Heat Pump?

A heat pump is a way of pumping heat from outside or into a building. It doesn't actually use energy to create any new heat. The general concept for how it works is you've got like an inside unit and an outside unit. And the two are connected by a refrigerant line, or I guess two lines, one going in and one going out.
