The Importance of Sensitivity
The end of the book is this sort of series of reflections on why ideal theorizing might have value independent of any sort of action guiding, practical, you know, task mastering. I think a fundamental question that's emerged even more clearly over time about what justice is: Is it the kind of thing that could require even highly unrealistic things? If you're wrong about that, if you take a side on that and you'rewrong about it, then you're misunderstanding justice itself in a fundamental way. So again, that's not practical, but it's another kind of value it might have.
