The Importance of Deconstruction

Deconstruction has taken a certain shape in the spiritual pop culture dialogue for better or for worse. Deconstruction has come to mean what it sounds like it means to dismantle and undo a faith once held. But whether or not this is good or bad, necessary or disastrous depends on who you ask. I was raised in a conservative fundamentalist southern Baptist environment in the deep south during the 80s and 90s,. should I not have deconstructed my upbringing?
