The Bias Between Women and Men

People tend to give preference to women in certain situations. I think it's that same kind of simultaneous condescension and privilege that women experience as it comes to being child adjacent in terms of status. It is a very striking thought experiment because often we like when I talk to my wife about this is all let's just because women can have kids. But how about if it's an 80 year old woman, and childless, and there's an 18 year old guy? People still want to save the 80year-old woman over the 18 years old guy. He's got his whole life ahead of him. She's only his peers left. Even if she doesn't have any kids or anything
