The Risk of Control in Marxism
Durham: When things for Marx grow to be en masse, then there's the risk of control being imposed. He says that just communication becomes corrupted by externalities and is distorted by scale. So in response to this, Peter says that Marx is too critical. And it's on that note that we push ourselves here into chapter four, where he begins to talk about new media.
