The Great Generals of Roman History
Military history isn't anything i've really studied broadly enough to be able to accurately compare rome to tokagawa. Julius caesar is, of course, one of the great generals in all history. I would put a relion on that list because of everything he was able to do in just five years. etius was clearly the best general of those last few generations of romans. The american war of independence is pretty famous for its major lack of truly great generalship. As for the french revolution, well, that kid bonaparte sure is about to make a name for himself. Maybe sir george goring, if he hadn't been so drunk all the time
