Breaked Femers - The History of Human Life

The benefits of large social orders with high levels of specialization have allowed humans to build better systems. This is the primary reason why, on average, human life is longer and healthier than it was a hundred or 500 or two thousand years ago. But i think it's overly simplisitic to claim that progress is inherent to civilization. The so called civilizing of colonies was catastrophic for human health and well being.
