Hayden: Uniswap v4 is for liquidity providers. The, the thing that I saw both that it pushes computation to the margins. It opens up this range of possibilities and this freedom for LPs to figure out how they're actually going to use the system as opposed to reinforcing you all into one bucket. There's a lot of new features that just don't fit into the V3 framework but could do with V4. And so yeah, I'd see it as where if a Liquidity provider wants to run a particular strategy or build their own pool, someone can actually help them get there.

Dan Robinson is GP and Head of Research at Paradigm. He, over the years, has done a lot of deep thinking about markets, auctions, and liquidity in DeFi, with a particular focus on Uniswap and Uniswap V3. Recently, Uniswap Labs released UniswapX, a new dutch auction mechanism, that Dan thinks changes the meta for swapping assets in DeFi, MEV, chain interoperability, and much more.
