The Problem With Excess Credit Creation

I think we have periods of exuberance, banks are very willing to lend. A lot of malinvestment happens in terms of business models that aren't viable and wouldn't be viable at most points in the economy. We've been propping them up unfairly at the expense of everywhere else. It was the excess of that and all this stupid spending that this is what's led to inflation.
