Saggala's Blackness

Sylvan Sullivan's work treads a fine line, says author Anthony Saggala. He articulates what it means to be a Caribbean person in London the way a Calypsoian would do it, he says. But there are some elements in his writing that some readers might find problematic, aren't they? And certainly when he did a reading at the Commonwealth Institute in London and someone in the audience slapped him a woman slapped him across the face.
