Is Proverbs a Medium of Communication?
I would say proverbs are more like a meme, it's an image. It communicates virtue, it communicates a situation that you might run into. So I would say all cultures have proverbs. And just so in particular for Africa, historically, we do have those many proverbs and I guess that proverbs where the technology on top of the technology of language to sort of carry different meanings and different advices and cancels that would move from generation to generation. That's really how I think of proverbs.
