The Greens and the Government's Dispute Over the Budget
It's very hard to know because both sides indicate that they're willing to wait, that they're not in a hurry. Greens have said via Max Chandler-Maver, they're happy to go back to the electorate and start running around talking about how the government won't do a deal. The government thinks he's politically naive. He thinks he's got their measure. Ultimately when it comes to the crunch, it may well end up at the level of leader to leader negotiations without Anthony Albanese.
