COP 27 will discuss a variety of different issues from climate change mitigation and adaptation techniques to the financial side of international efforts. Climate change is destructive and some of its consequences cannot be avoided through mitigation or adaptation. Developing countries have repeatedly asked developed countries for financial help to deal with climate change. But here lies a problem. Signing up to the idea of loss and damage would be admitting you are responsible for climate change - most countries don't want to do this.
