There's all these anti American feelings in Okinawa as it is because of their presence there. And then this crime did not help any of that. The people of Japan were obviously furious. They wanted these men turned over to Japanese authorities, which is the policy after formal charges are brought. So basically these guys got taken in on September 6th and a couple of weeks go by and they're still not handed over to Japanese Authorities.
