What Is Hinduism?
An important early event was the islamic conquest of sind in 712. This led to a further synthesized philosophy of life, which affirms four basic puruchartas: dharma, arta, kama and moksha. And all of this had developed and been woven together into a larger system before then the encounter t islam. So i hope that this gives you a reasonable overall understanding of what hinduism is. I would, of course, be interested in any of your thoughts, reactions.
