He was brought up in this sort of brutal world. And he rises to the very top of the French army and becomes something which I don't really still understand. He's completely switched sides made him switch sides then because it was like, I was never really that keen on the English anyway. But maybe his bigger goal was to sort of reestablish his name. That's what his mother always wanted. She wanted to sort of prove how unfair it was - everything was taken from them, including their future. So she wanted it back at any price.
