Consumer long term inflation expectations are now three point three %. But at least the consumer is closer than bond investors, who don't expect that kind of growth. The markets still believe that inflation is going to crash and will return to 2% or 3%. That period of low inflation was transitory, and now it's over,. We are going to have a period of very high inflation.
