Would You Do Your Training on Trails?
"I would do sessions on the trails as well and you might not run as fast but you know you were saving your legs," he says. "You have to train on concrete and pavement at some point because you're running when you're running 42 Ks on it then you have to get conditioned to it if you've had 100% on trails" He adds that a lot of his long runs ended up being almost tempo runs which involved all three: strength, conditioning and speed. 'Every athlete is different every athlete doesn't have the same training environment and conditions'
