The Limits of Our Ability to Know Other People

One of the things that really stuck out to me about Marga is the extent to which she is experiencing the limits of our ability to know other people. And her mother with whom she has a fraught but very close relationship, she seems to sort of study and maybe no better than anyone. She realizes I think increasingly that she is a mystery to other people too.
