How to Track a Low Pressure Storm
Sailing in a far north Atlantic from Newfoundland towards Ireland like we did the season really is July and August if you were to go further south Bermuda a zores that route the seasons May and June. I prefer this big picture approach to weather for a number of reasons first and importantly It lets you focus on sailing the boat and remaining closer to nature. Way off shore forecasting is extremely iffy anyway Why get frustrated when it's blowing 35 outside instead of the forecast 25? You should be ready for it anyway, so make the best of it. The wilderness idea people tend to forget about because yours you can still stay reasonably connected even offshore with Sat phones and chart plotters and all that.
