The Importance of Faith in Music
Music was an escape for sure, but it was also kind of like a drug in a lot of ways. I think part of it is that as a musician, music is such an emotionally evocative art form and artists tend to almost over develop their connection with particular emotions. As a 33-year-old looking back at my teenage self, I see more that what I was going through was a bit more intense than probably what they were going through.
