Curtis: My position was not objecting to a class of people. My position was saying that this class of people holds a set of ideas disproportionately to other classes of people. In other demographics, this is not a controversial contention, right? Curtis: If you come down on the position that white evangelical politics is more influenced by history and culture than consistent application of evangelical theology, argue with me about that. But to say i'm just castigating a group on the basic basis of demographics isn't what i'm doing at all.
