The Role of Culture Scene in COVID-19

Bicarb use comes from the first ACLS guidelines in 1974. The 2020 update does not recommend routine use of bicarb and cardiac arrest. There actually may be a role for culture scene for COVID-19 in ambulatory patients with risk factors, but this study was not able to answer the question. We do not recommend giving culture scene to patients who you suspect have COVID pneumonia.
