The first most important step is education. I think knowledge is power and really learning about narcissism, what it's like to have a narcissistic parent. Sometimes people who wind up married or in a relationship with a narcissist have a kind of difficult background that brought them to that relationship. If your spouse or partner is a narcissist, does it affect you in the same way that it would affect you if your parent was like this? That could be a whole other podcast probably.
